I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oregon. I grew up and started practicing therapy in North Dakota before moving to Oregon in 2017.
I have specialized training in womxn’s hormone imbalances and the impact they have on mental health, anxiety, trauma, and codependency.
After several years of my body battling me with pain, fatigue, hormonal imbalances, IBS, inflammation, weight gain, anxiety, infertility, I was finally diagnosed with Stage IV Bowel Endometriosis, diabetes, and an autoimmune disease. Suddenly it wasn’t a battle at all, but rather an ongoing journey of healing.
Along the way, I have met some amazing professionals to help me balance my life and function (as well as I can) each day. I have also started to speak to my clients about many different issues that impact women and it turns out, I am not alone! It has inspired me to get more authentic and vulnerable while helping my clients find their balanced life. I believe when women are ready to do the work, they will strongly benefit from my collaborative, holistic, and growth minded approach to therapy.
I’m excited to share that I am now certified in Women’s Hormone Health through the Institute for Menstrual Health. This certification provides me with a deeper understanding of how hormonal fluctuations affect mental health, allowing for more tailored and effective therapy. With this specialized knowledge, I can address issues such as PMS, mood disorders, and menopause-related symptoms with greater precision. My approach integrates both psychological and physiological aspects, ensuring a holistic care strategy. This enhanced expertise empowers me to support you in navigating the unique challenges of hormonal changes and improving your overall well-being while connecting you with other informed providers, if needed.
